So, you’ve made a salad and now you want a dressing to top it with. Have you considered making your own? Salad dressings are really simple and easy to make!
I came up with four recipes that I shared with HMSA Hawaii. And since they’ve revamped their website and changed from Well Being Hawaii to Island Scene, I figured I would link up all the recipes that I made for them on in this post. Just click on the underlined name of each dressing and it’ll take you to the page where you can find the recipes and video to go along with it.
By far, the most popular so far has been the Cilantro Lime Dressing. This is a super star because it can also be used on tacos or burritos or anything else, really.
Up next is a Soy Ginger Dressing that can be used on somen noodle salads, regular salads, or even as a marinade for tofu or meats.
Topping your salad with even more veggies is a great way to up your intake, so this Roasted Red Pepper Dressing is the perfect way to add ONE more vegetable in a tasty way.
And to round it all out, a simple vinaigrette with lots of fresh herbs and what I call a Homemade Italian Dressing. This too can be used as a marinade if wanted.
To me, salad dressings are so much more delicious when made fresh as you need it with fresh herbs and ingredients. Happy eating!
